I found the book to be very interesting.  I couldn't put it down!

I would definately recommend The Lawmaker to others.  I believe The Lawmaker would make a very good movie.  I like the way the writer tells the story with the descriptions used and the way he puts in funny comments from the characters.  I would buy more books by this author.

This is a great book. I very much enjoyed reading The Lawmaker and have already recommended it to to several friends and colleagues. This story would make an excellent movie. I am eager to read the next work from this very talented author.

I was fortunate enough to read an advance copy of The Lawmaker. The book's setting (Mississippi) is cinematic and makes the perfect background for this story of corruption and courage. Grisham fans may have a new favorite!!   

This book is great.  A movie is a great idea.  I really like the fact that the writer did not waste my time on unneeded detail but gave enough detail to keep it interesting but not boring. I couldn't put it down.  If this first book is any indication of what is to come from this author, I can't wait.

Its going to be a hard job to top this book.

Started reading and could not put it down.  For a first time writer, I thought the book was great and hope to see more in the future from Rick.  Being from Mississippi and working with Local and State Law Enforcement there the book seemed so true to the facts.  Great job Rick, I will be waiting for the Movie that I am sure will come after the book is out for awhile...cool
